What a great time! So I didn't end up at the Superstore, but still got to stamp with some friends and make some cards with them. Andrea and her family had me over for an evening of fun, food and drinks. I couldn't think of a better way to start my weekend.
The fun didn't stop there, I had a few more girlfriends over on the Sunday for, yes, some more scrapbooking and card making. This is when I made these little gems. I got a few of the ideas from other demonstrators (like Andrea Walford) and put my own personal twist on the end result. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with them and will be making them at my next workshop. Can't wait!

This is the card I made for one of my girlfriend's daughter. She was enjoying my owl punch so much, I just had to show her how to fancy it up a bit.. love how you can use the bat punch to make the wings!
So simple, so elegant, and I get to use my favorite tree stamp.
And my favorite one.... drum roll please....
I got the idea from Andrea Walford's Twelve Day's of Christmas. I was supposed to used different colors and a snow flake in the middle, but this is what I came up with instead. Love, love, love this card. And Sue, if you're reading, we're making this at your workshop. :)
Well, time to put the fun papers aside and take out the other ones. I'm off to study for an exam. Wish me luck!
