My First Ever Christmas Bizarre
On November 20th, I have a table booked for a local Christmas Bizarre. For the past few years I’ve been thinking about getting a table at the Bizarre, and one year I even called but all the tables were taken already. This year, I went for it. Next year I’ll give myself a bit more preparation time, but if I’m successful, I’ll definitely go back.
Luckily for me, I’ll have my little partner with me. My son Kolter, a budding entrepreneur will be there selling too! During the summer months, my son sells baking out in our front yard. He’s gotten quite good at it and even has his returning customers. He’s very excited to have this opportunity to selling his baking to help refill his bank account for the winter months. J
So I’ve taken some pictures of what I’m going to be selling. I would LOVE some feedback. I’ll list some prices below the items. Are the prices too high? Too low? (or maybe I should just leave those items off the table altogether?)
Thanks for looking!
(oh! and if you're in the Lively area on November 20th, come stop by the Meadowbrooke Retirment home and say hi!)

Little treasures hidden inside...
Here's another little project that I came across and just had to make. There's are cute little gift card holders! Much nicer then just handing someone a little plastic card, or those little flimsy card board ones that come with the cards. I'll be selling them at the Christmas Bizarre at Meadowbrooke on November 20th if you're in the Sudbury area.
Finally! Back to the Scrapbooking...
I have to admit, I did get a little distracted by the card making and forgot about my scrapbooking. But that's all at an end now! While getting ready for my first ever Christmas bizarre, I decided to make some pre-made scrapbook pages. What do you think? I'll have to make some more for myself!
(this is the little globe at the bottom of the page)
Organizing my Space
Half the fun of getting new scrapbooking tools is organizing them. I love finding new storage solutions so everything is close by and easily accessible for when I need it. I think I'll be getting another cube shelf. They are just way too perfect. :)

Busy Stampin' Weekend
What a great time! So I didn't end up at the Superstore, but still got to stamp with some friends and make some cards with them. Andrea and her family had me over for an evening of fun, food and drinks. I couldn't think of a better way to start my weekend.
The fun didn't stop there, I had a few more girlfriends over on the Sunday for, yes, some more scrapbooking and card making. This is when I made these little gems. I got a few of the ideas from other demonstrators (like Andrea Walford) and put my own personal twist on the end result. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with them and will be making them at my next workshop. Can't wait!

This is the card I made for one of my girlfriend's daughter. She was enjoying my owl punch so much, I just had to show her how to fancy it up a bit.. love how you can use the bat punch to make the wings!

So simple, so elegant, and I get to use my favorite tree stamp.
And my favorite one.... drum roll please....
I got the idea from Andrea Walford's Twelve Day's of Christmas. I was supposed to used different colors and a snow flake in the middle, but this is what I came up with instead. Love, love, love this card. And Sue, if you're reading, we're making this at your workshop. :)
Well, time to put the fun papers aside and take out the other ones. I'm off to study for an exam. Wish me luck!

Superstore, here I come!
On October 22, I'll be taking over the Great Canadian Superstore on Lasalle. That's right, you heard me.
The kitchen is all mine! Funny that I'm not cooking in it.
All silliness aside, on Friday October 22, I'll be hosting a Christmas card making class from 6:30 to 8:30.
The class will be held upstairs at the Superstore. Cost is $20 per person.
I'll be teaching everyone how to make their very own Christmas cards and a cute little note pad you can give as a gift or give away as a Christmas gift. If you're interested in coming, please RSVP asap as seating is limited. Call me at 207-1079 or email me at faeriestamp@hotmail.com.
If people are interested, I may even turn this into a regular thing. Card classes are so much fun and everyone always leaves with big smiles on their faces, amazed that they actually made the paper creations in their hands.
So make sure you come out! It's sure to be a good time!
These are 2 of the 3 cards we'll be making:

Easy Bow with a Fork
Tie a bow with a fork???
Seriously! This is one of the neatest things I've seen in a long time.
For those of us that are not so great with bows, you'll love this trick.
Works all the time!

So what is a Stampin' Up Workshop anyhow??
A Stampin' Up! workshop is a creative event you host at your home, where you invite your friends to enjoy an exciting demonstration provided by a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. When you host a workshop, you'll see new project ideas, learn different techniques, make a project, and have fun with people you enjoy.
As a hostess, you'll work with me to choose a date for a workshop, then invite your friends and family into your home to stamp and have fun with you. Your Stampin' Up! workshop can be as simple or elaborate as you want it to be. It can be a class where you make specific projects, or a training to learn new techniques. No matter what you have in mind, I will help you make it the perfect event for you and your friends!

Stamp a Stack Class and then some...
Once I got started, I just couldn't stop!
First I went to my uplines's Stamp a Stack class and made five beautiful Christmas cards. Don't they just get you in the holiday spirit? I know it did it for me! (but first I need to get through Thanksgiving and Halloween first.
Can you see the little globe on the snow globe? I LOVE these little plastic cups. I've seen then used on halloween cards filled with candies and cinnamon hearts for Valentine's Day.
Once I got home, I couldn't stop. I came up with these cards myself. Maybe a little more fine tuning perhaps?
I can't wait to share these with my friends and show them how to make the cards.

Stampin' Up Workshop Sunday Sept 26, 2010 1 to 4 pm
I'm so excited! I've been busy trying out new all my new inks and stamps and punches from Stampin' Up.
I finally decided which 3 things I would like to make for my workshop (well, kinda). I can't decide which one I want to do.
Alot of my friends just LOVED the decorated chocolate bar and gum wrappers. So we'll probably do one of each. With Christmas just around the corner, I designed a card with my new Christmas stamp.
So if anyone would like to come on out for an afternoon of crafting, I would love to have you over. :)
Email me at faeriesstampinup@hotmail.ca for directions to my home if you need.
See you then!
